The callsign W7DI has been around for over eighty years in one form or another. It started out in 1916 as 7DI and went through five different "owners" before it was obtained by Carson Valley Radio Club in 1997. CVRC is proud to continue in the footsteps of these previous license holders:

W7DI is the callsign of the linked two-meter and 450 MHz repeaters owned and operated by Carson Valley Radio Club. The systems are located on McClellan Peak and operate on input frequencies of 147.870 and 446.250 MHz and output frequencies of 147.270 and 441.250 MHz, both requiring a PL tone of 123.0 Hz. From an elevation of 7450 feet, they provide excellent coverage for all amateurs within the Reno,Carson City and Carson Valley areas.
